After the One Year War, the Earth Federation Forces developed this main mass-produced unit based on the GM, with modifications that include a retrofitted cockpit and thrusters. In contrast to the Earth Federation Forces' red color specifications, the AEUG model has a green fuselage color and a different model number. The ballute, equipment that is used by all armies, allows mobile suits to enter the atmosphere on its own.
